Yellow Media was Founded in 2013 by Ms Duduzile Zwane Yellow Media is a 100% wholly black and woman owned training and Development organisation registered with the Department of Higher Education and accredited by the SETA’s to offer, Skills Development training, project management SETA and QCTO aligned learning material, Assessment and moderation centre, couching and mentoring and South African language translation services.

Braille Translation Training

A braille translator transcribes written documents, such as textbooks, magazines, and novels into braille. Additionally, he or she might perform related tasks, such as preparing documents for electronic use with braille displays or duplicating braille texts. About one-fifth of all translators work from home or are self-employed and must sometimes work under strict deadlines and timetables.

This course is offered to individuals, who would like to work as translators. Sign language is a natural language. It is the primary sign language used by the deaf and people with hearing impairment. Translation of text to sign language is also be given as a task during sign language study session. This tool can easily produce the correct answers and because the visual stays on screen, students can follow the hand movements at their own pace.
